Café Pastel arrived in Back Bay not with fanfare, but with quiet seduction, offering Portuguese pastry tradition, a touch of French charm, and the unmistakable hospitality of Raffles’ legendary warmth. We built a brand designed to linger – like the taste of something truly exquisite. Custom illustrations wrap takeout items in visual indulgence, giving the everyday ritual of coffee and pastry a sumptuous, almost tactile sense of richness. We crafted a bespoke script wordmark to infuse the identity with care and intimacy – every curve a nod to craftsmanship and the human touch. The palette we selected, anchored in deep azulejo blue, paid homage to Portugal’s cultural heritage while enveloping the brand in elegance, warmth, and memory, and reinforces a narrative of indulgence in life’s smaller pleasures.
